73 Daftar Obat Sirop yang Ditarik dari Peredaran oleh BPOM karena Cemaran Etilen Glikol
Keputusan pencabutan izin edar produk obat sirop ini berdasarkan hasil investigasi dan intensifikasi pengawasan BPOM.

TRIBUNNEWS.COM - BPOM RI sudah merilis 73 obat sirop yang ditarik dari peredaran karena mengandung etilen glikol (EG) melebihi kadar aman.
Jumlah itu bertambah setelah BPOM mengumumkan menarik peredaran empat obat sirop mengandung etilen glikol (EG) melebihi batas aman, Rabu (9/11/2022).
Berikut daftarnya:

"Produk kedua farmasi itu menggunakan bahan pelarut yang tidak memenuhi syarat," kata Kepala BPOM RI Penny K. Lukito dikutip dari konferensi pers, Rabu (9/11/2022).
Sebagai tindak lanjut, BPOM memerintahkan penarikan seluruh produk menjadi tugas tanggung jawab kewajiban dari industri Farmasi tersebut, tapi tentunya dimonitor dan didampingi secara aktif oleh kantor-kantor Badan POM di seluruh Indonesia.
Penarikan mencakup seluruh gerai industri besar farmasi, pedagang besar, apotek instalasi Farmasi rumah sakit Puskesmas klinik, toko obat, dan praktik Mandiri tenaga kesehatan.
Sebelumnya dilansir dari situs resmi, BPOM menerbitkan surat pencabutan izin edar obat sirup milik tiga perusahaan farmasi pada Senin (7/11/2022).
Ketiga perusahaan farmasi yang dicabut izin edar produk obat sirup oleh BPOM adalah PT Afi Farma, PT Yarindo Farmatama dan PT Universal Pharmaceutical Industries.
BPOM menemukan penggunaan bahan baku pelarut Propilen Glikol pada produksi obat sirup di perusahaan tersebut.
Selain itu, obat sirup yang diedarkan juga mengandung Etilen Glikol dengan takaran yang tidak tergolong aman.
Keputusan pencabutan izin edar produk obat sirop ini berdasarkan hasil investigasi dan intensifikasi pengawasan BPOM. Berikut daftarnya:
