TRIBUNNEWS.COM - Kunci jawaban Bahasa Inggris kelas 9 halaman 154 Kurikulum Merdeka menjawab soal berdasarkan kegiatan listening (mendengarkan) menggunakan audio yang diputar oleh guru di kelas.

Soal tersebut ada di buku English for Nusantara | untuk SMP/MTs Kelas IX oleh Ika Lestari Damayanti dkk terbitan Kementerian Pendidikan tahun 2022.

Pada halaman 150, siswa akan memasuki Bab 3 atau Chapter 3: Journeys to the Fantasy Worlds.

Bab ini berisi materi tentang cerita dunia fantasi agar siswa dapat menganalisa masalah dan solusi yang dihadapi karakter utama.

Kemudian, siswa diharapkan dapat menulis ulang cerita tersebut.

Siswa akan masuk ke Unit 1. Andre and Princess Suripit pada halaman 152.

Pada halaman 154, pembelajaran memasuki Section 2 - Listening.

Siswa akan mendengarkan cerita Andre and Princess Suripit melalui audio yang diputar oleh guru di kelas.

Kemudian, siswa diminta untuk menjawab urutan cerita pada gambar berdasarkan audio tersebut.

Kunci jawaban ini hanya digunakan oleh orang tua/wali atau guru untuk membimbing siswa dalam belajar.

Andre and Princess Suripit (Part 1)

Yesterday when Andre was playing a mobile game, there was a strange message from the game. It said “Come with me to my kingdom”. The message came over and over.

Andre tapped the link from the message. Suddenly, a bright light zapped. He could not see anything. He only felt that the air turned very very cold and it smelled really fresh but weird.

It took him a solid minute to slowly focus his eyes on blurry objects. Gradually, everything went clearer. He realized that he was no longer at home. But he knew he was at the place he knew so well. 

It was the place he visited very often. It’s the Mangrovian. There were mangrove trees everywhere. Andre saw some unique houses made of mangrove trees. 

Ah, this is Mangrovian! exclaimed Andre in his thought. The kingdom he visited every weekend, in his mobile game.

b. Listen to Audio 3.2 about the story of Andre and Princess Suripit (Part 2). Complete the story by choosing the correct words from the box.

“Welcome to Mangrovian.” greeted a (1) ....(Soft).... voice he knew so well, the guardian of Mangrovian Kingdom, Princess Suripit. Andre tried hard to focus on her tall igure. “Ah, am I dreaming?” Andre inally broke the silence. He expected that Princess Suripit would be gone. She just (4) ....(giggled).... and gave him gestures to follow her. Strangely, Andre’s feet just followed her steps even though he didn’t want to. Then he realized he was not wearing his pajamas anymore. He wore a metal breastplate. There were also gauntlets on his hands. He realized that he (5) ....(wore).... a knight outit.

Princess Suripit said again, “It seems like a dream. But, you are not dreaming.”
